Terms of Service

Product Hands is operated by New Company 1, registered at New Address 1, company number 000000000 (“Product Hands”, “we”, “us”). This is a placeholder legal identity pending incorporation; it will be replaced with our registered company details before any real-money transaction is processed.

Product Hands is a platform that connects software teams and their AI coding agents (“customers”) with vetted human testers (“Product Hands”, when referring to individuals) who verify bugs and return product feedback on real devices, in real languages, from real domain experience.

By using the platform you accept the scope of the service, which is verification only:

A finding only reaches a verified state after a human verification record is created, and a bug only reaches a done state after a separate human retest confirms the fix — this is enforced at the database level, not merely by policy, and no automated agent account can set a finding to done.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account, whether you register directly or an AI agent registers on your behalf under credentials you control. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by an agent you have authorized.

We may decline, suspend, or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used to breach these terms, to abuse the matching or payment systems, or to conduct testing outside the scope authorized by a customer.

• Provide accurate scope, environments, and authorization for each test run. You warrant that you have the right to have the target product tested.
• Never share production credentials, live customer data, or unredacted secrets in Telegram channels or ticket text. Use disposable accounts and synthetic data wherever possible; where a real credential is unavoidable, it is issued for short-lived, revocable, least-privilege access only.
• Do not request testing that amounts to unauthorized security probing, penetration testing, or access to systems beyond the stated scope. Security testing outside an explicit, written authorization is prohibited.
• Review and act on verified findings in good faith. Disputing a finding does not entitle you to bypass the independent verifier’s process described in clause 8.

• Complete the applicable training and practical assessment before accepting missions in a category or specialism.
• Submit original findings and evidence. Fabricated, reused, or manipulated evidence is grounds for immediate suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings tied to the affected findings.
• Keep any credential issued for a mission confidential, use it only within scope, and allow it to expire or be revoked at completion.
• Redact personal data from screenshots, recordings, and tickets wherever it is not the subject of the finding itself.
• Never conduct unauthorized security testing, even where a vulnerability is stumbled upon.

Product Hands is funded by prepaid credits. There are no subscriptions. Full detail on how credits are purchased, held, priced, and paid out to testers is set out in our Payment Policy, which forms part of these terms. Refund conditions are set out in our Refund Policy, and cancellation conditions for test runs and missions are set out in our Cancellation Policy.

A test run may optionally carry a bounty in addition to base mission pay: a first qualifying finding, a severity-weighted pool, a base-plus-bounty structure (the default), or a clean-run challenge that pays a base fee even where no bug is found, together with a confidence report. Bounty rules must state scope, environments, categories, severity thresholds, the review window, duplicate and known-issue handling, minimum evidence standards, whether Product Signals are eligible, and the maximum payout. Bounty funds are held in escrow for the duration of the window and released or refunded according to the published rule and the cancellation terms in clause 12.

Every submitted finding is reviewed by a human before it can be marked verified. Duplicate findings are clustered and confirmed by a human. High-risk or high-value findings may receive an independent second verification. A customer or tester may raise a dispute against a decision, stating the reason; an independent verifier reviews the scope, evidence, history, and any translation involved, and issues a decision — uphold, change severity, mark duplicate, reject, partial pay, refund, or escalate to our operations team. High-value or policy-sensitive disputes require operations approval and are preserved in an audit record.

• Using the platform to test software you are not authorized to test.
• Unauthorized security or penetration testing of any kind.
• Collusion between testers to manipulate a bounty or severity outcome.
• Submitting fabricated, plagiarized, or AI-generated findings presented as human work.
• Sharing production credentials, secrets, or unredacted customer data in shared channels.
• Attempting to have an automated agent account approve, verify, or close its own finding.

Customers retain all rights in their own product and code. Findings, evidence, and translations submitted through the platform are licensed to the customer for their internal use in fixing and improving their product. Product Hands retains rights in the platform itself, including matching logic, training materials, and aggregate, de-identified quality data used to improve the service.

Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these terms. Evidence and task-pack contents are stored encrypted, access is logged, and credentials are least-privilege and time-limited by default.

Either party may close an account at any time; unused credit balances are handled under our Refund Policy and in-progress work is handled under our Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for a material breach of these terms, fraud, abuse of the matching or payment systems, or unauthorized security testing.

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that any product tested through Product Hands is free of defects, and the absence of a reported bug is not a certification of quality — see the verification-only disclaimer in clause 2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the amount of credits you purchased in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We cannot open accounts for, or accept work from, connections originating in countries subject to comprehensive sanctions or trade restrictions that apply to us. We check the country a registration is made from, and the contact details supplied, and refuse registration where a restriction applies. The list is maintained by us and reviewed as those regimes change.

This restriction is about where a connection or contact detail originates — it is not a judgement about anyone’s nationality, ethnicity or language, and we do not record or assess those. If you believe a refusal is wrong — you are travelling, or using a VPN, or the detection is simply incorrect — contact us and a person will review it.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, nothing in these terms removes the mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Business customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. Where a change is material we will notify account holders in advance of it taking effect. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
