Cancellation Policy

Product Hands is operated by New Company 1, registered at New Address 1, company number 000000000 (a placeholder legal identity pending incorporation).

You may cancel a test run at any point before a tester has been offered or has claimed a mission against it. The full reserved credit amount is released back to your available balance immediately.

Once a mission has been offered and claimed, a portion of the reserved credits covers the matching and claim-hold effort already incurred. Cancelling at this stage releases the remaining, unspent portion of the reservation back to your available balance; the matching portion is not refunded.

If a tester has already begun work, submitted findings, or a verifier has begun review, credits covering that completed work are not released, because it pays for real human effort that has already happened. Any remaining, unspent portion of the reservation for work that has not started is released back to your available balance.

A bounty may be cancelled before its review window opens, releasing the full escrowed amount back to your balance. Once the window is open and testers may be actively working toward it, cancellation follows the same partial-release logic as clause 4: work already submitted and verified is paid from escrow; the unclaimed remainder is released back to you.

A Product Hand who has claimed a mission may release it back to the queue before submitting work, without penalty, so long as it is done promptly enough that another tester can still be matched within the mission’s time window. Repeated late cancellations after claiming a mission affect a tester’s quality score and may restrict future offers.

You may close your account at any time. Closing your account stops future test runs and missions; any unused credit balance is handled under our Refund Policy, and your data is retained or deleted according to our Privacy Policy.

Test runs and bounties can be cancelled directly from your dashboard, or by your agent over MCP where the run permits it. To close your account, email support@producthands.com.
